Located only five minutes from Faverges-Seythenex, the cave and waterfall offer a great, inexpensive tour to explore the wonders of nature. In addition, both provide the chance to cool off during the summer heat (bring a light sweater or sweatshirt).

Guided tour of the cave

One of a kind in Haute-Savoie, this easily accessible cave offers a wonderful educational experience.

Located in the Bauges Mountains Natural Regional Park, just outside the town of Faverges-Seythenex, this natural wonder earned Geosite status from UNESCO.

During the forty-minute guided tour, learn all about the headwaters of the rivers that pass through our destination and that feed into Lake Annecy.

The waterfall

A leisurely stroll on a well-marked, slightly-uphill trail takes you to the top of the 45-meter high waterfall.

On the footbridges and walkways, spend your time enjoying the scenery and views of the waterfall.

It’s quite invigorating to see just how much water flows out of the mountains!

The zip line

Once you reach the top, get ready for the thrill of “flying” back down to the trailhead on a zip line.

Zoom 150 meters above the ground for a truly incredible and heart-pumping experience!

 

After setting foot back on terra firma, take advantage of the terrace for a well-earned break.

Grab a bite to eat or quench your thirst as you marvel at the views of Tamié Valley.

In short, we had a great afternoon and went home with smiles on our faces!
