Fête du Lac

On the first Saturday of August, Albigny Bay becomes the enchanting setting for the largest fireworks display in Europe!
Originating from the great "Venetian" festival held in 1860 in honor of the arrival of Napoleon III, this event has evolved by incorporating all the latest fireworks and entertainment techniques—and by calling on renowned creators of emotion.
Nearly 200,000 spectators flock to the lakeside to participate in this evening of pleasure and wonder.

The Lake Festival returns in 2025 for a new edition with the artistic project "Ode to the Moon," led by the French company Arteventia.
Divided into six acts, the audience will discover a powerful and colorful 70-minute show, combining pyrotechnics, water jets, lights, lasers, luminéoles, and batucadas.
A varied musical repertoire (30 pieces) and narration by Benoît Allemane will accompany the demonstration for a total immersion rich in emotion. Led by master fireworks maker Édouard Grégoire, this show, which is intended to be intergenerational, will highlight the elements of nature and human relationships.
