Just the right amount of activities and entertainment organized by the friendly, outgoing staff, games for kids, and even a wellness center with a sauna, steam room, and massages for a little pampering when you need it. Head to the p\u00e9tanque courts to enjoy a little friendly competition, and don\u2019t the many fun evening gatherings.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

The real key perhaps, is the location<\/h2>\n

A quick walk or ride to the water\u2019s edge, the campground is located in the small village of Lathuile, and high enough above the lake to offer amazing panoramic views of the surrounding mountain landscapes. The village also hosts a great farmers market every Friday during the summer. Located at the foot of the Bauges Mountains, several great hikes start from the village center.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

When to go<\/h2>\n

One last piece of great information that our friends shared with us: having stayed at this campground several times, they recommend that we plan a trip in the spring or fall.<\/p>\n

Open from May through September, during the two shoulder seasons the campground offers a calmer, less expensive experience, as well as views that are even more amazing than the rest of the year!<\/p>\n

When they returned from their trip, friends of ours told as about La Ferme, and now we want to stay there\u2026<\/p>\n

They described a campground exactly how we like it, just the right size, not too big or too small, with neat and tidy lanes, shady campsites, well-designed modern mobile homes, a pool with a retractable roof so that you can swim in any weather, and even a Jacuzzi!
