You need to bring your own gear to climb it. You can rent via ferrata climbing gear at the base of the La Sambuy ski area.<\/p>\n<p>From footbridges, to high wire hanging bridges, to ladders suspended over the void, enjoy the thrilling experience of climbing a via ferrata. An extraordinary vertical adventure.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n                <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section data-block_cc2182476469a6038c80a1d8e1e75c21 class=\"text alignfull container mb-20\">\n      <h2 class=\"text-30 font-bold mb-10\">La Sambuy climbing area <\/h2>\n  \n      <div class=\"mce custom-list-style mt-6 first:mt-0\"><p>From the top of the chairlift and ski area, at 1800 meters elevation, enjoy the five-minute hike to the La Sambuy climbing area. Open to the general public. There are two climbing areas. The first, for beginners, has climbing routes rated 3 to 5 (French sport climbing difficulty ratings). The second, for experience climbers, has routes rated 6a to 7a+ (French sport climbing difficulty ratings).
